Infinix Note 12i 50 MP Triple Camera , 5000 mAh Battery
The Infinix Note 12i was launched in Kenya this week as the latest offering from the Chinese smartphone brand. The new Infinix Note series smartphones come in three distinct color options and feature a 90Hz refresh rate display. The phone is equipped with three rear cameras, with a main sensor of 50 megapixels. The Infinix Note 12i has dual stereo speakers with support for DTS audio and offers 4GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The phone has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
Infinix Note 12i Price, Availability
The official Infinix website does not mention the price and availability of the new Infinix Note 12i. The phone is currently listed on the Kenya e-commerce site Price in Kenya for KES 20,500 (about Rs 13,600) for the single 4GB + 128GB RAM configuration. The phone is available in Sunset Golden, Jewel Blue and Force Black color options.
However, details on the launch of Infinix Note 12i in India and other global markets are yet to be announced.
Infinix Note 12i Specifications
The new Infinix Note 12i runs on Android 12based XOS 10.6. It features a 6.82inch HD+ IPS (720 x 1,640 pixels) display with a 90Hz refresh rate, pixel density of 263ppi and 180Hz touch sampling rate. Under the hood, the smartphone has an octacore MediaTek Helio G85 SoC coupled with MaliG52 MC2 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The processor has a peak speed of 2.0GHz. The RAM in Infinix Note 12i can be virtually extended up to 7GB using the additional inbuilt storage.
For optics, the Infinix Note 12i features a triple rear camera unit headlined by a 50megapixel main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. The rear camera setup also comprises a 2megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.4 aperture, a sensor with 320×240 pixels video resolution (QVGA sensor) along with a quadLED flash. The rear camera supports super night mode, portrait, panorama and HDR among others. It also supports FullHD video recording at 30 frames per second (fps). For selfies, Infinix has provided an 8-megapixel front camera with dual LED flash on the handset.

As mentioned, Infinix Note 12i comes with 128GB of onboard storage. The internal storage can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card.
Connectivity options in the phone include dualband WiFi, Bluetooth v5, GPS, USB OTG, and a USB TypeC 2.0 port. Sensors onboard include an ambient light sensor, gyroscope, gsensor, ecompass, and proximity sensor. For authentication, the new Infinix handset features a fingerprint sensor as well. In addition, the Infinix Note 12i has two stereo speakers with DTS audio technology.
Infinix has installed a 5,000mAh battery in the Infinix Note 12i that supports 18W fast charging. The size is 171x77.4x8.3mm.
